Dear E-drug listmembers,
I am undertaking reseach on the impact of patents on the ability of
governments in SAsian developing countries make available essential
medicines. I am unclear as to:
(i) which drugs are essential in Pakistan, Bangladesh, Nepal, Sri Lanka and
India;
(ii) the nature of the barriers: patents, prices, lack of infrastructure,
government's health policy, corruption.
Any assistance greatfully received. I enclose an abstract for your perusal.
Thanks in advance
