Re: TRAction RFA MNCH2011-002: iCCM Cost and Financing Analysis and Model Development.
TRAction is a USAID funded implementation research project aimed at finding ways to accelerate the scale up of key Maternal, Newborn and Child Health (MNCH) interventions, which are critical to the attainment of the MDG goals 4 and 5. The TRAction Project Request for Application (RFA) for Integrated Community Case Management of Childhood Illness (iCCM) - Cost and Financing Analysis and Model Development is posted to the TRAction Project website www.tractionproject.org/funding/funding.html<http://www.tractionproject.org/funding/funding.html>\.
All organizations that meet the eligibility requirements as stated in the RFA are welcome to apply.
The purpose of this solicitation is to fund research to develop and validate a simple model that can be used as a tool by program planners and managers to rapidly assess the costs and financing of iCMM introduction and expansion in developing country settings with different levels of iCCM experience. The awardee will also analyze the iCCM cost and financing experience in three countries. Applicants can submit questions concerning the RFA by Nov. 1 and TRAction responses will also be posted to the website. Although not required, TRAction would be appreciative if those organizations with any interest in submitting an application inform Stacie Gobin by email at sgobin@urc-chs.com by November 1, 2010. TRAction will then post the list of organizations expressing interest at the same time as it posts the responses to questions about the RFA.
