E-DRUG: Banning the unbannable

Greetings from Pakistan!
Here at TheNetwork for Consumer Protection we have been working on building
a case for banning of metamizole containing products but for the strong
opposition by the industry and ineffective regulations it could not be done.
Similar moves in India (and other places) in recent times have met with
similar resistance. Now we are starting a renewed move not only against
metamizole but a host of others including co-proximol and furazolidine etc.
I am writting to get your advice on how to mobilize support in this campiagn
by using EDrug platform. This will compliment a strong advocacy push lead by
my organization here in Pakistan and possibly in other countries wanting to
join in. Perhaps we'll need to build an email and letter writting campaign
which we could sustain at least for three to four weeks say during Oct. 05.
