E-DRUG: Benzodiazepines use: consistent with recommendations?
---------------------------------------------------------------
[BC = British Columbia, a anadian province/region WB]
Dear E-druggers,
I would like to bring to your attention the November/December 2004 issue
(#54) of the Therapeutics Letter: "Use of Benzodiazepines in BC: Is it
consistent with recommendations?" that has just been published on the
Therapeutics Initiative web-site at http://www.ti.ubc.ca/pages/letter54.htm
In this Letter we describe the utilization of benzodiazepines in BC from
1996 to 2002, and we see a pattern which appears inconsistent with the
recommendations of educational groups, regulators and manufacturers.
I invite you to drop by and have a look at this Letter. Please feel free to
forward this message to any of your friends or colleagues that might be
interested in this topic.
We would appreciate receiving your comments on this Therapeutics Letter and
its possible implications in clinical practice.
Best regards,
