Please find below invitation for paper submission to Journal of
Medicine Use in Developing Countries
Invitation: The Journal of Medicine Use in Developing Countries
(JMUDC) invites authors to publish their scientific materials within
the scope of the journal.
About the journal: The JMUDC is a peer reviewed international journal.
It is the official publication of the Discipline of Social and
Administrative Pharmacy (DSAP) at the School of Pharmaceutical
Sciences, Universiti Sains Malaysia, Malaysia. The DSAP
(http://www.usm.my/dsap) is committed to promoting research in
medicine use problems in developing countries. Introducing a journal
focusing on medicine use issues in developing countries is one of the
new initiatives by the discipline to promote rational use of medicines
and sustainable health in developing countries. The journal aims to
provide a strong platform for the researchers from the developing
countries to publish their research findings. Four issues will be
published per year. The website of the journal is

Scope of the journal: The JMUDC particularly welcomes contributions
from professionals concerned with medicine use in developing
countries. The core areas of interest of the journal are:
1. Research in generic medicines.
2. Drug utilization studies.
3. Pharmacovigilance.
4. Pharmacoeconomics.
5. Issues related to counterfeit medicines.
6. Cross border supply of illegal medicines.
7. Drug promotion.
8. Public health pharmacy.
9. Pharmaceutical policy and management.
10. Drug use problems in the community.
The journal also welcomes any other relevant contributions related to
medicine use in developing countries.

Instruction to authors: JMUDC provides a medium for publication of
research and education in medicine use issues in developing countries.
The journal publishes Original Article, Review Articles, Short Reports
and Thesis abstracts relevant to the area of interest of the journal.
Papers need to be written in English. Papers are accepted with the
understanding that they have not been published or being submitted for
