Marius,
In addition to the systems mentioned by Jorg Hetzke, I know of one other
computerised drug management system which is in use here in Kenya for
the logistics of family planning commodities and, since recently,
essential drugs. This system, which was developed with assistance by
Family Planning Logistics Management (John Snow Inc.) is rather unique
in the sense that it is developed around a very strong distribution
module. So far the system has been used primarily for a push system
with a focus on monitoring and feed-back. Incorporation of pull
components such as ordering and invoicing are under discussion.
