E-DRUG: Director WHO/EDM leaves

[Let us thank Jonathan for all the work on essential drugs, and welcome Hans
as acting Director in EDM! WB]
E-drug readers may be interested to know some of the latest personnel news
from Geneva. Dr. Jonathan Quick, director of the WHO Department of
Essential Drugs and Medicines Policy will leave the organization by the end
of January 2004 to become CEO of the non-profit group Management Sciences
for Health. [see www.msh.org WB]
Hans Hogerzeil, currently Coordinator for Policy, Access and
Rational Use, has been appointed Acting Director from 1 February 2004.
