E-DRUG: Drug registration, inspection and lab testing -please shareyour
country's experience
--------------------------------------------------------------------------
[WB]

Dear e-drug members,

I am interested in learning from individual drug regulatory authorities
about their efforts in improving the quality of pharmaceuticals in their
countries with regard to the framework used, and specifically concerning
registration, inspection, and laboratory testing. Also, how resources (human
and financial) have been allocated to these services. In addition, it would
be grateful if you could share with me the following:
- whether there is a monitoring system/mechanism on drug quality;
- any data on percentage (%) of drug samples tested in the past year (or
years) that passed quality testing;
- any concern about counterfeit and/or substandard pharmaceuticals in the
market of your country.

I will highly appreciate your time and help if you could kindly share with
me your country's experience.

Thank you in advance,
Souly
