E-drug: Drug Testing Laboratories (cont)

Dear Colleagues,
As commented by our colleague Mr. Eriksen, establishing drug testing
laboratories at a hospital level is not cost effective if we are
speaking about a fully equipped & properly staffed laboratory that can
furnish reliable and reproducible analytical results. In such case
the initial investment and the running cost might not much with
incomplete utilization of the laboratory by such an institution.
However, the small handy and simple Mini-Lab drug testing kit produced
by the GPHF - Germany could be very helpful for hospitals which need
to perform a preliminary quality screening for some of their drugs.
This is cheap and can be run with a minimum level of skill.
