E-DRUG: equipotent dosages of ACEIs?

It has been discussed earlier in E-drug that DDDs (Defined Daily Dosages)
of therapeutic agents cannot be considered as therapeutic equivalent
dosages.
In South Africa, specific ACE inhibitor(s) are being promoted by drug
companies to be the cheapest 'member(s)' of their class, resulting in
public healthcare facilities mostly procuring these cost-effective
member(s).
When applying the System of Objectified Judgement Analysis (SOJA), and
re-adjusting the DDDs of the following ACEIs to therapeutic
equivalent dosages, what is the cost-effective ACEI?
ACEI DDD (mg) therapeutic equiv dose(mg)
captopril 50 50
enalapril 10 10
lisinopril 10 10
perindopril 4 10
ramipril 2,5 5?
quinapril 15 15
The issue regarding the correct therapetic equivalent dosages needs
to be resolved in order to filter through the correct info to SA
healthcare officials.
