E-drug: Essential drugs list for Greece (cont'd)

A good reference is the WHO DAP Monitor Number 19 (1995) - there are
several articles from countries relating their experiences. Zimbabwe is in
the process of revising their list (to produce the 4th edition). We have
struck a balance between evidence-based inclusion criteria and
practitioner experience. Another reference we have drawn on is a
publication from Int. Jnl of Clin. Pharmacol. Therapy & Toxicol. Vol 26 No
3 - 1988 (122-124) which describes scoring system for selection of
essential drugs, and which we have modified to suit our own needs.
