E-DRUG: Essential drugs list Turkey (cont)

Dear E-druggers,
I am a Professor of Pharmacology from Turkey. I have a copy of the
essential drug list prepared by the Turkish Medical Association.
Nevertheless, it is not the list that you have e-mailed to me. This
list was prepared in 1995 and was never accepted as an official list
by the MoH, and as far as I know, there is neither an official
essential drug list nor a national formulary.
Therefore, any kind of an essential drug list may serve good to
prevent useless drug donations to the earthquake are. I have spoken
to a colleague from Turkish Medical Association. He asked me to let
you know that there is no urgent need for drugs, but any help for
rehabilitation activities would wellcome. I will be happy if you
could forward this information to whom it may be concerned.
What could I do further in this respect? You think it is
beneficial to translate the above mentioned essential drug list into
English and send it to you?
