E-DRUG: Fixed Dose Combinations for TB

In response to the question from Wilbert about the size of the four drug FDC
tablet. The dose will not be a single tablet it will be a weight related
dosage. So for people under 37 kg the dose will be 2 tabs, for those 37 to
54 it will be 3 tabs, and for those over 54 it will be 4 tablets. This will
be both for the intensive phase with a four drug FDC tablet and for the
continuation phase with a two drug FDC.
This simple regimen will make it very easy to manage the entire program
using DOTS.
