E-DRUG: Flucloxacillin compared to cloxacillin - efficacy

Dear all,
I was wondering if there is a considerable difference in efficacy between flucoxacillin and cloxacillin? I had originally thought that flucloxacillin would be much stronger due to the fluorine group attached to the molecule. However, according to Martindale there isn't much difference in the peak plasma concentrations between the two drugs.
I am currently working with the Ministry of Health in Tonga as an Australian volunteer pharmacist and we are reviewing our current tender for the next financial year. At the moment, we have cloxacillin on our EDL but we were thinking about changing over to flucloxacillin which would be more expensive. [and more liver toxic. Moderator]
I was wondering if anyone had any information regarding this matter?
