rising drug prices and inflation, and their influence (or pressure) on health
budgets and expenditures in Latin America.

Not in Latin-America, but in the Asia-Pacific region (29 countries) a study was
carried out into drug pricing. The results were presented in the Asia-Pacific
Seminar on Implementing National Drug Policies, Sydney, Australia, October 3-7,
1995. It was also published in HAI-News, number 86, December 1995: "Retail drug
