E-drug: Injection Practices - consumer advocacy (contd)

In Cambodia in 1996 we carried out a 9000 household injection practices survey
as part of a national multi-indicator study (National Institute of Statistics) -
quantitative data, sources, reasons etc.
In November 1998 we are conducting focus group discussions on injections with
mothers in Phnom Penh and again in early 1999 in rural areas. Leading to
a Ministry of Health public education programme to reduce injections use for
minor problems.
I will be able to share data on this and related issues at the end of this year.
