E-drug: Injection practices - consumer advocacy
----------------------------------------------------------
Dear E-drug readers,
We are helping prepare some education programs to do do with safe injection
practices. Please could anyone who knows, provide (anecdotal) information
about PNG, Indonesia, Vietnam, Cambodia settings concerning:
- consumer desire for injections
- prescribing practices
- inappropriate use of injections
- overuse of injections
- injection practices
- sterilisation techniques
- disposal of used needles and syringes
Any info about non-compliance with National policies/treatment guidelines
etc. would be helpful.
Thank you very much - Beverley
[Note from moderator: The idea of using radio broadcasting is great and
should be extended. As a follow-up: Proposals for other themes to be
broadcasted are welcome as are any experiences! Kirsten Myhr]
