E-DRUG: Lesotho needs help (pharmacists)! (4)
---------------------------------------------

It is my observation that there is a scarcity of Academic resources
throughout Africa, both from a research and a teaching, learning
and assessment point of view. However, with email, eLearning and
air travel, this should not be regarded as a problem, but as an
opportunity to innovate and lead the way.

Putting this item onto an international agenda would be useful from
the point of view of securing intergovernmental cooperation for a
regional initiative and possibly international funding for new
educational internventions.

However, it is more important to find people who are prepared to
stand up and be counted, either from an electronic point of view or a
face to face point of view. Electronic recruiting and participation
could widen our net considerably.

Where do we go from here?
