E-drug: Multi Drug Resistant TB

Dear E-Druggers,
In the 'Guidelines for the Management of Drug-resistant Tuberculosis
Patients in South Africa' from July 1997, Terizidone is recommended for
the intensive phase as well as for the continuation phase.
I would like to know, whether Terizidone is actually used for the
treatment of MDR-TB patients in South Africa. Is Terizidone also used
in other countries for the above mentioned indication?
