E-drug: Terizidone (cont'd)

In response to Ushma Mehta's message on Terizidone ("... considered
effective in the treatment of TB and may also be useful for the
treatment of urinary tract infections including those due to TB"), I
would say yes, but (1) is its efficacy proven? and (2) if it is such a
good drug, why is it not used or marketed anywhere else?
