E-DRUG Re: Problem suppliers (cont'd)
l am not too sure whether "black listing" is what we want, or "white
listing" for that matter.
l would be interested in sharing information about which company has
supplied item(s) that has not met with the required specs., neglience etc.
Almost an event reporting (of course backed-up with good documentation).
This l am sure is legally allowed (esp. accompany details of the problem).
The company perhaps is incidental. Then we can be alerted of the item
supplied coming from a certain supplier, company etc. Some NDRA do this l
know.
One can then draw ones conclusion whether the supplier should be
"blacklisted" without having to declare it as such. Of course the more
reports of similar events implicating a company/supplier the more
conclusive would be the decision to be taken against the company.
Sharing such info between countries will help in this process.
The bottom-line is that: a 'bad' experience needs to be shared just as in
the case of adverse events for others to be more careful, and not having
to repeat the unpleasant experience/risks.
My two-cents worth.
