E-drug: Re: Pyrazinamide

Greetings!
Here are 3 formulae which come from Red Cross Childresn Hospital,
Groote Schuur Hospital and Tygerberg Hospital, but have NO REFERENCES
and as far as I know have not been tested in vitro!
Red Cross
Pyrazinamide powder 1g
Chloroform water 200ml !!!!!!
GSH
Pyrazinamide tablets powdered 1500mg
methylcellulose 0,53g
glycerine 15ml
Simple syrup 30ml
Hydroxybenzoates as preservatives
Water to 150ml
makes 50mg/5ml
I would check this carefully
Tygerberg
Pyrazinamide tablets 400x500mg
Traganth powder 12g
Alcohol 96% 50ml
Concentrated chloroform water 50ml
Distilled water to 2litre
Half fill container with water then add the tablets. Tragacanth
dissolved in the alcohol and add to the container with the
water/tablets mixture and shake till all tablets dissolved. Make up
to volume. Good Luck! 500mg/5ml
Would try a pilot project if I were you!!
