[e-drug] Repeat ordering on antibiotic prescriptions (cont'd)

E-drug: Repeat ordering on antibiotic prescriptions (cont'd)
-------------------------------------------------------------------------

In Canada, it probably depends on which province you live in. If
doctors write a prescription for someone who is not covered by a
public provincial drug plan then they can order as many repeats as
they want. Different provinces impose limits on how long a supply
of drugs can be given on a prescription and in these cases there will
be limits on the number of repeats available if the prescription is
being paid for by the public plan.
