Please note the following, which would include as acceptable, papers or
essays on improper drug donations.

The Maine Benzodiazepine Study Group is pleased to announce the first annual
competition for residents, interns and students. The competition will be in
the form of a paper to be delivered to the 4th Annual Maine Benzodiazepine
Study Group Conference. This will be held October 24th and 25th, 2006 in
Portland, Maine, with further details to follow. The topic for the
competition is on any aspect of: Prescription Drug Misuse or Abuse.
Additional attention will be given to those papers that address in some way
Benzodiazepines. Residents, Interns or students must simply be in a program
before July 1, 2006, and provide a letter of confirmation to that effect by
their training Director of Dean of Students. A nominal prize will be
offered in two categories, Medical Residents, and all other students. There
are no age or geographical restrictions and any category of pharmaceutical
is permitted.

Medicine and Psychiatry, Coordinator, Clinical Epidemiology Graduate
