E-DRUG: Tablet Counter (5)

Dear Colleagues,
Both the tablet counting spatula, made from metal or just a split PVC
tubing, or the counting triangle as suggested by Miriam Naarendorp, are
commonly used counters.
From experience from my side, we prefer analizing the frequent moving
amounts and then standardize the packsize by prepacking and labeling these
according to a SOP.
Prepacking can best be done with a counting balance.
By prepacking standardized amounts, we can also standardize therapy with
prescribers, we also prevent cross-contamination(SOP) through products etc.
