E-DRUG: Training in Pharmacoeconomics

Dear E-druggers,
Recently, Sten Ollson of the WHO International Collaborating Center in
Uppsala, Sweden wanted to know about training programs in
pharmacoeconomics. Since this topic may be of interest to other E-druggers
I am mentioning three places here in the U.S. which offer some
kind of training program in pharmacoeconomics. Please note this is not a
comprehensive list and to my knowledge all these programs provide
financial assistance mainly from the pharmaceutical industry. Some of these
training programs require a trainee to spend 50 percent of their time at
the sponsoring drug company. I have no idea if financial assitance is
available for trainees from outside the U.S. Some of these also offer
degree programs in pharmacoeconomics.
