AFRO-NETS> Brundtland's Address to the WFPHA

Brundtland's Address to the WFPHA
---------------------------------

Returning from the 8th Annual Congress of the World Federation of
Public Health Associations, Arusha, Tanzania - 12-17 October, 1997 we
have made the speech of Dr. Gro Harlem Brundtland, former Prime Min-
ister of Norway, during the opening session available for downloading
via anonymous ftp or request via e-mail from the HealthNet server.
Dr. Brundtland deals in her address among others with the future role
WHO might play in providing leadership for a healthier world.

The organisers of the Congress promised us more summaries/abstracts
of presentations given during the recent meeting which we then can
make available in the same way.
