RFI: Curriculum on HIV/AIDS education in secondary schools
----------------------------------------------------------

We are currently developing a Toolbox with model "Curricula on
HIV/AIDS Education and Counselling" in secondary schools. This
is done within the frame of a HIV prevention project in secon-
dary schools in Tanzania financed by Deutsche Gesellschaft für
Technische Zusammenarbeit (GTZ) and implemented by Swiss Tropi-
cal Institute (STI).

If you have used respective materials/curricula (if possible
with comments on its quality and strengths), please contact us
and/or forward materials. A main aim is to have (within the maze
of materials that are out there) a selection of materials that
have proven to be useful and effective. Anybody who is inter-
ested in the toolbox, or especially in commenting and testing
its content, is invited respond.

Greetings from Dar es Salaam Tanzania!

I have not used the manual, but am interested in reviewing the
manuals. Quite agree that we can no longer ignore to teach this
info, but adaptation may be required in different settings.

Please forward the materials to me if possible.

RFI: Curriculum on HIV/AIDS education in secondary schools (7)
--------------------------------------------------------------

Hello,

many thanks for your interest! Basically the Toolbox is a col-
lection of existing curriculum/manuals/materials on health in
school. The problem is that there are too many materials, so the
most valid input from people working in this areas would be to
give some comments on what is really useful. I will finish the
compilation by next week and send you a CD.
