Family Health International (FHI) is dedicated to improving
lives, knowledge, and understanding worldwide through a highly
diversified program of research, education, and services in
HIV/AIDS prevention, care and treatment, reproductive health,
and infectious diseases. We are seeking qualified candidates for
the following positions:

Research Associate II, Kenya

Works closely with senior research staff to develop, implement,
monitor, manage and/or analyze complex and other research stud-
ies; designs research management systems. BS/BA in public health
or related field and 8-10 years relevant experience and profes-
sional level of knowledge and expertise in research methods and
application; or MS/MA /MPH and 5-7 years relevant experience and
professional level of knowledge and expertise in research meth-
ods and application. MD/PhD and 0 yrs.

Research Associate II, Thailand

Works closely with senior research staff to develop, implement,

Country Director, Indonesia

Provides leadership to and oversees the management of FHI's In-
stitute for HIV/AIDS country program in Indonesia. Ensures the
achievement of results through high quality program implementa-
tion that conforms to the requirements and expectations of donor
agencies. In addition, oversees other technical and management
support and collaboration to the Government of Indonesia, USAID,
UN, NGOs and other donors and stakeholders. Master's or doctoral
level degree with six to eight years in public health or related
field, and at least four years experience in the management of
public health or development programs. Experience in technical
assistance in HIV/AIDS or STD programs that reflects knowledge.
Ability to speak and write in Bahasa Indonesia is an advantage.
Good cross-cultural skills. Senior Technical Officer/Drug use-
related HIV interventions (Bangladesh)

To manage overall technical assistance to ensure the quality of,
and to provide selected direct assistance to HIV prevention and
care interventions and research for injection drug using popula-
tions in the Asia Region. Qualified candidates will have exper-
tise with injection drug use (IDU) and harm reduction for HIV
prevention. Experience with IDU and HIV in South Asia is prefer-
able. Masters or equivalent experience in public health; and at
least five years specialized experience in designing and/or pro-
viding technical assistance to HIV care and treatment programs
for injection drug using populations in resource-poor settings,
including at least two years senior management experience. Ex-
perience with U.S. government contractual requirements and ex-
perience working in an international NGO/PVO environment desir-
able.
