Monitoring and Evaluation Specialist
Position Number: 1376

Save the Children, an international relief and development organiza-
tion that seeks to make lasting changes in the lives of women and
children worldwide, has an immediate opening for a Monitoring and
Evaluation Specialist to contribute to SC's work on our Saving New-
born Lives Initiative which is dedicated to reducing neonatal mortal-
ity. Working out of our Washington, DC office, the incumbent will co-
ordinate closely with the SNL Program and Research staff to implement
project objectives and activities. Additional responsibilities in-
clude developing and implementing (M&E) monitoring and evaluation
systems in project areas, including assistance to country programs;
developing and implementing overall project monitoring; training team
members and in-country counterparts; and survey design and analysis.

Requirements:
Masters degree; 5+ years experience in International Public Health or
related field; 3+ years experience in program monitoring and evalua-
tion; prior successful implementation of Health Information Systems;
strong quantitative and qualitative analytical skills; stellar commu-
nication skills in English; computer literacy; ability to travel in-
ternationally 30% time. Fluency in second language a plus.
