Ms. Ruck,
Thank you for your response and for your question. Our study has ac-
tually been progressing for the past eight months through reviews of
international public and private investments in Africa's healthcare
as well as personal outreach to public and private healthcare leaders
throughout the continent.
We recently became aware of the wonderful resource that AFRO-NETS
provides and thought that this might help us to get in touch with a
greater diversity of opinions and views of the healthcare sector in
Africa. It is simply one aspect of our study. We are interested in
highlighting countries that are serious about managing and developing
healthcare resources that will provide a good foundation for improv-
ing the health status of their countries. Should you have any views
or opinions of which countries or which leaders are effectively meet-
ing this challenge and those which are not, we would be interested to
hear from you. Our company represents a variety of healthcare inter-
ests, ranging from managers in the non-profit sector to private
healthcare technology companies.
