Dear Thomas,
I don't detect any 'fear' of sharing knowledge in what Helga wrote, but
think she is just being pragmatic. Having recently met Helga in Harare
and visited rural hospitals in Zimbabwe I can at least speak from some,
albeit, limited experience of her situation. No-one would deny that
everyone has a right to have access to information and I don't see that
Helga implied anything to the contrary. I think she quite rightly
points out that it is not enough to supply the hardware without ensur-
ing that the systems can be maintained, preferably utilising local re-
sources and are usable given the local infrastructure.
