Strategic Leadership for Population and Reproductive Health

This two week course is designed for mid- and top-level policy mak-
ers, programme managers and academic leaders in population family
planning, maternal and reproductive health The seminar engages par-
ticipants in innovative approaches to policy analysis, strategic
planning, programme management and evaluation, and organisational
change. The seminar is conducted by faculty of the Johns Hopkins
School of Public Health, each with over two decades experience in the
field.

Participants will have the opportunity to discuss public health lead-
ership issues with leaders in public health such as Drs. D.A.
Henderson and Carl Taylor. Course faculty include Drs. Ronald Gray,
Kenneth Hill, Michael Koenig and others.

The workshop uses an original innovative software tool, StarGuide, as
a simulation for leadership challenges. Participants plan strategy,
formulate policy, deal with difficult problems, and develop leader-
ship skills.

Room and Board US$ 1,680 Includes 15 days shared double bedroom
                           suite with kitchenette, laundry, and
                           meals.
Health Insurance US$ 80 Health coverage while in the United
