Family Health International (FHI) is dedicated to improving
lives, knowledge, and understanding worldwide through a highly
diversified program of research, education, and services in
HIV/AIDS prevention, care and treatment, reproductive health,
and infectious diseases. We are seeking qualified candidates for
the following positions:

Associate Director, Clinical and Community Care - Arlington, VA

Manages and provides technical leadership in clinical and commu-
nity care. Responsibilities include ensuring the quality of im-
plemented clinical and community care activities; acting as a
resource for the development of innovative and expanded re-
sponses in clinical and community care for HIV, in particular,
in areas such as HIV clinical management including preventive
therapies, TB (tuberculosis)/HIV relationships, care for mothers
and infants, the introduction of safe and effective use of ARVs
(antiretroviral treatments), and palliative care; providing
overall technical leadership in clinical and community care in
coordination with regional and country offices; supervising
staff in the Clinical and Community Care Unit; and making pres-
entations at professional meetings and conferences.

Clinical Degree (MD, nursing, clinical psychologist) plus Mas-
ter's degree in Public Health and seven years experience in the
field of clinical care to include clinical management, TB, ARVs,
including two years working in developing countries and two
years of management experience. Experience in Paediatric care
would be an asset. Fluency in French, Russian or Spanish desir-
able.

Dissemination Officer - Arlington, VA

To increase dissemination, reach, and use of YouthNet's materi-
als, publications and global technical leadership. Specifically,
assist the Information Dissemination Director with all phases of
YouthNet dissemination, promotion and usage activities and par-
ticipate in the knowledge management team activities, playing a
coordinating role as needed.

Master's degree in public health, international development,
communications, or related field and two or more years of rele-
vant experience. International experience preferred with experi-
ence in dissemination, communications and advocacy-related ac-
tivities. Strong writing and project management skills required.
Experience working with USAID cooperating agencies preferred.
Professional level proficiency in French or Spanish preferred
but not essential.

Country Director, Dominican Republic

Responsible for the management and implementation of HIV/AIDS
programs in the Dominican Republic and serve as the Chief of
Party for the CONECTA Project; ensure achievement of the pro-
jects objectives, deliverables and will represent FHI with na-
tional and international organizations.

Masters or doctoral level degree in social science, public
health or related field, and seven years experience managing
large international development projects to include at least
five years of senior level project management experience. Proven
technical experience in HIV/AIDS prevention, care, and support
activities preferred. Experience must reflect knowledge, skills
and abilities. Excellent cross-cultural skills and fluency in
Spanish required.

Associate Director, Monitoring and Evaluation (India)

Responsibilities include developing and managing integrated
HIV/STI prevalence and behavioural surveillance surveys and an
integrated project monitoring and evaluation (M&E) system. Doc-
toral degree (Ph.D. or DrPH) in epidemiology or related field
with extensive coursework in epidemiologic research or equiva-
lent years of education and experience. At least 5 years experi-
ence at a senior level in managing and conducting international
HIV epidemiologic research or evaluating HIV prevention programs
utilizing quantitative research methodologies, plus documented
experience in writing research for publications. Experience must
reflect knowledge, skills, and abilities described above. Excel-
lent English language skills necessary.
