Family Health International (FHI) is dedicated to improving

HIV/AIDS prevention, care and treatment, reproductive health,
and infectious diseases. We are seeking qualified candidates for
the following positions:
Vice President, Technical Support (Arlington, VA)
Provides technical leadership and oversight for the technical
strategies and activities of FHI's Public Health Programs.
Manages the Technical Support Department. Works closely and
coordinates with the Vice President, Program Management for
Public Health Programs and other senior FHI staff in Research.
MD or PhD, with public health degree or equivalent experience in
public health and 11-13 years of professional experience; or
Master's degree in relevant discipline and 13-15 years of
professional health experience. Experience includes seven years
specialized experience in HIV/AIDS and/or infectious diseases
programs in developing country settings plus 8 years management
experience in public health programs. Experience must reflect
the knowledge, skills, and abilities listed above.
Technical Advisor, Monitoring, Evaluation and Surveillance
(Arlington, VA)
Provide leadership in Monitoring and Evaluation and Surveillance
design, implementation and in the day to day operations of data
processing, in-depth data analysis including bi-variate and
multi-variate, regressions analysis for articles writing,
proposal development, dissemination, advocacy, program design
and improvement and presentations to various audiences. BS/BA in
public health or related field, and 9-11 years relevant
experience in HIV/AIDS or family planning with international
development programs and with proven strong data management and
robust data analysis experience and skills; or MS/MA/MPH in
public health or related field, and 7 - 9 years relevant
experience; or PhD, MD or similar degree with 5 - 7 years
relevant experience. Overseas field experience required; must
have at least 5 professional publications in respected journals
or other fora.
Senior Technical Officer, Health Management Information Systems
(Arlington, VA)
Responsible for providing technical assistance and overseeing
overall FHI Health Management Information Systems (HMIS)
assessment, design and quality implementation for FHI Care and
Treatment programs. Will provide technical assistance to Country
Offices to foster the use of HMIS data and its standardization.
MS/MA/MPH in public health field, and 5-7 years experience in
HIV/AIDS or reproductive health with international development
programs including at least 5 years in HMIS design,
implementation and management; Or PhD, MD or similar degree and
2-4 years relevant experience in HIV/AIDS or reproductive health
with international development programs including at least 2
years in HMIS design, implementation and management. Overseas
field experience required.
Associate Director, Resource Development and External Relations
(Arlington, VA)
As part of FHI's Resource Development and External Relations
(RDER) team based in Washington DC, supervise internal processes
for proposal development across the organization and represent
FHI in external meetings with donors and partners. Main
responsibilities include: Oversee the team of Senior Resource
Development Officers on a daily basis; Oversee and improve the
proposal development process; Assist with reviews of draft
proposals in order to ensure that competitive proposals are
submitted and that FHI's external relations are maintained and
strengthened; and Perform other related duties as assigned.
MS/MA in public health or related field and a minimum of 7 years
relevant experience with international development programs; or
BS/BA in public health or related field and a minimum of 9 years
relevant experience with international development programs.
Experience in resource development related to broad public
health programs including HIV/AIDS, infectious diseases, youth,
family planning/reproductive health considered a strong plus.
