We are seeking qualified candidates for the following positions:

Vice President, Technical Support (Arlington, VA)
Provides technical leadership and oversight for the technical strategies and activities of FHI's Public Health Programs. Manages the Technical Support Department. Works closely and coordinates with the Vice President, Program Management for Public Health Programs and other senior FHI staff in Research. MD or PhD, with public health degree or equivalent experience in public health and 11-13 years of professional experience; or Master's degree in relevant discipline and 13-15 years of professional health experience. Experience includes seven years specialized experience in HIV/AIDS and/or infectious diseases programs in developing country settings plus 8 years management experience in public health programs. Experience must reflect the knowledge, skills, and abilities listed above.

Director, Resource Development for Public Health Programs (Arlington, VA)
Leads and manages resource development for Public Health Programs for FHI. Guides and supports the Country and Regional Offices in resource development. Works with Business Planning and Development Office to manage and coordinate external relations with respect to positioning for Public Health Programs to expand and diversify its funding base and enter into new infectious disease and service delivery areas. Master's degree in related field or equivalent years of relevant experience with at least 10 years of experience in resource development, proposal writing, and development. Experience must reflect the knowledge, skills, and abilities listed above. Fluency in French or Spanish is desirable.

Senior Technical Officer, ART Adherence (Arlington, VA)
The Senior Technical Officer will manage a 15 month research study on adult Antiretroviral Therapy (ART) adherence including protocol design, Institutional Review Board (IRB) approval processes, study implementation, partner and steering committee management, communication with Project Officers, and meeting/training planning and implementation. BS/BA in public health or related field and 8-10 years relevant experience and professional level of knowledge and expertise in research methods and application; or MS/MA/MPH and 5-7 years relevant experience and professional level of knowledge and expertise in research methods and application; or MD/PhD and 0 years experience.

Senior Technical Officer, ART Adherence Data Manager (Arlington, VA)
Provide leadership in the day to day operations of data processing, in-depth data analysis including bi-variate and multi-variate, regressions analysis for Anti-Retroviral Adherence data; Contribute to data analysis for articles writing, dissemination, advocacy, program design and improvement and presentations to various audiences. BS/BA in public health or related field, and 5-9 years relevant experience in HIV/AIDS or reproductive health with international development programs; or MS/MA/MPH in public health or related field, and 4 - 7 years relevant experience HIV/AIDS or reproductive health with international development programs; or PhD, MD or similar degree with 3 - 4 years relevant experience in HIV/AIDS or reproductive health with international development programs. Must have proven strong data management and robust data analysis experience. Overseas field experience required.

Senior Technical Officer, Health Management Information Systems (Arlington, VA)
Responsible for providing technical assistance and overseeing overall FHI Health Management Information Systems (HMIS) assessment, design and quality implementation for FHI Care and Treatment programs. Will provide technical assistance to Country Offices to foster the use of HMIS data and its standardization. MS/MA/MPH in public health field, and 5-7 years experience in HIV/AIDS or reproductive health with international development programs including at least 5 years in HMIS design, implementation and management; Or PhD, MD or similar degree and 2-4 years relevant experience in HIV/AIDS or reproductive health with international development programs including at least 2 years in HMIS design, implementation and management. Overseas field experience required.

Technical Advisor, Quality Assurance and Quality Improvement (Arlington, VA)
Provide leadership in Quality Assurance/Quality Improvement (QA/QI) for public health programs in support of the organization's strategic plan, mission, values, goals and objectives. Will develop and monitor the implementation of FHI's QA/QI strategic plan. Will coordinate the evaluation of QA/QI systems, programs and services at both HQ and field levels.BS/BA in social science, public health or related field, with a minimum of 11 years relevant experience with international development programs; or MS/MA in social science, public health or related field, MPH preferred, and a minimum of 9 years relevant experience with international development programs; or PhD, MD or similar degree with 5 - 7 years relevant experience in HIV/AIDS or family planning with international development programs. Overseas field experience required.

Director, Monitoring and Evaluation (Abuja, Nigeria)
The Director of Monitoring and Evaluation (DME) is in charge of all Monitoring and Evaluation (M&E) activities for Family Health International in Nigeria. Provides leadership to the M&E Department; be involved in overall management and provides technical input to improve and facilitate the delivery of sound technical assistance in M&E, including to the Government of Nigeria (GON) and United States Government (USG) upon request; collaborates closely with other major Stakeholders such as the UN Family or the Nigerian CCM to participate in the implementation and improvement of the National M&E effort in Nigeria. Health related diploma (MD, Pharmacist, etc...) and PhD or similar degree in Monitoring and Evaluation or related field. 8-10 years experience in Monitoring and Evaluation in large HIV/AIDS programs at international level, with at least 3 years of direct experience in developing countries (preferentially in West Africa); sound knowledge of statistics and epidemiology; experience in working with local partners, including host Governments, NGOs and CBOs; knowledge of the Nigerian local context is an asset, as well as familiarity with USAID and PEPFAR programs.

Deputy Director, Technical Support (Abuja, Nigeria)
Under the direction of the Project Director, manage the activities of the staff providing country office and state office level technical and strategic support to the Nigeria program. Provide technical assistance and support to local public and private sector counterparts in building technical capacity for the implementation of HIV/AIDS/STI prevention programs.Masters or doctoral level degree in public health or related field with experience in HIV/AIDS programming. Minimum of eight years with a broad range of experience in HIV/AIDS and in health service delivery programs. Supervisory experience/experience working in technical teams is required. Experience must reflect the knowledge, skills and abilities listed above.

Senior Program Officer/Manager, Field Programs and Technical Services (Nairobi, Kenya)
The Senior Program Officer/Manager will support the Director of Field Programs and Technical Services to: Ensure effective and efficient operation and coordination of the Africa regional portfolio and operations; Develop, assess, strengthen, and maintain systems for office operations in the region, particularly systems and tools for project timeline tracking, budget monitoring, quality assurance and adherence to standard operation procedures; and Strengthen communications and collaboration between the field and headquarters. Position located in Nairobi, Kenya. MS/MA/MPH with at least 5-7 years of relevant experience; or BS/BA with 7-9 years of relevant experience.
