Family Health International (FHI) is dedicated to improving
lives, knowledge, and understanding worldwide through a highly
diversified program of research, education, and services in
HIV/AIDS prevention, care and treatment, reproductive health,
and infectious diseases. We are seeking qualified candidates for
the following positions:

Senior Program Officer - Arlington, VA

Provide leadership for projects and/or support country programs
in a select region, particularly in large, complex or start-up
programs; and provide leadership in close-out of programs in the
region. Provide ongoing programmatic, management, and financial
oversight required by projects and/or the regional and country
offices. Provide leadership in developing and implementing qual-
ity assurance/quality improvement systems for programs in the
region. Participate in resource development efforts to identify
Resource Development opportunities and lead proposal development
teams, as necessary. Build capacity of country offices and im-
plementing partners to manage programming, including training.
Provide backup when Associate Director is on travel. Perform
other duties as assigned. BS/BA in public health or related
field, and 7 - 9 years relevant experience with international
development programs or MS/MA in public health or related field,
and 5 - 7 years relevant experience with international develop-
ment programs. Overseas field experience required.

Technical Assistant (OVC) - Arlington, VA

To provide administrative and technical support to the Orphan
and Vulnerable Children (OVC) unit. Main responsibilities in-
clude: Provide general clerical and administrative support to a
technical unit/division; Provide support with data management
and financial and activity tracking; Perform other related du-
ties as assigned. Bachelor's degree in Public Health or related
field plus 1-3 years related experience in HIV/AIDS or family
planning with international development programs.

Associate Director, Finance and Administration - Accra, Ghana

Based in Accra, Ghana, the Associate Director for Finance and
Administration will manage all administrative and financial as-
pects of the AWARE project. Main responsibilities include: Man-
age and review all financial and administrative functions; Main-
tain records for auditing and inspection; Coordinate the review
of subcontracts, sub-agreements, and other obligations; Develop
and submit financial reports; Oversee purchasing and procure-
ment; Participate into the development of budget; Ensure the
proper management of personnel and project materials and equip-
ments; etc. Advanced degree in Business Administration (or re-
lated field) with at least five years of experience in project
administration, finance and personnel management. Experience
with USAID regulations is strongly desired. Strong working
knowledge of computer programs: Word, Excel, etc. Fluency in
English and French.

Senior Technical Officer, Surveillance, Research and Evaluation
- Bangkok, Thailand

To facilitate and provide selected direct technical assistance
in the design, implementation, capacity-building and quality as-
surance of the surveillance and research components of individ-
ual interventions and country-level HIV prevention, care and
support projects and programs in the Asia and Pacific Region.
Ph.D. degree with extensive experience in HIV and STI-related
surveillance, research and evaluation with complementary train-
ing or experience in public health. At least 5 years with a
broad range of experience in HIV and STI-related surveillance,
research and evaluation, preferably in Asian settings. Experi-
ence in managing technical teams. Excellent English skills.
