Save the Children, a leading U.S. and international child-
focused relief and development agency seeks a Health Advisor to
provide technical leadership and direction to Save the Chil-
dren's health programming in areas that include maternal/infant
health, child health, nutrition, infectious disease (TB, ma-
laria, STI, etc.) and adolescent reproductive health.
Responsibilities include representing Save the Children with lo-
cal partners in health programming; supporting and strengthening
capacity in service delivery, health information systems, health
education and behavior change; developing and strengthening col-
laborative relationships with Department of Health at the na-
tional, provincial and district levels where the program oper-
ates; assisting in program design, planning and implementation;
and providing technical oversight of monitoring and evaluation
of health programs including monitoring indicators, design of
data collection methodologies and analysis and reporting.
Masters' Degree in Public Health, MD, or relevant field; 5-8
years' previous work experience in public health; and excellent
understanding of maternal child health issues. Ability to travel
nationally and able to motivate staff; and excellent facilita-
tion and presentation skills. Strong computer skills including
MS Word, Excel, and Access. Excellent communication skills in
Bahasa Indonesia and English required. This is an unaccompanied
