World Health Organization health survey
---------------------------------------
(Public Health Associations)

This is an important message from the World Health Organization:

The World Health Organization is carrying out a large-scale investi-
gation to assess the performance of health systems in all the coun-
tries of the world. The results will be published in our World Health
Report at:
http://www.who.int/whr

This investigation seeks to improve on existing data and methods for
assessing the performance of health services systems. You can learn
more about this by looking at:
http://www.who.int/whosis
see under "Statistical data from the World Health Report 2000"

This portion of our investigation is focusing on Key Informants, per-
sons involved in and knowledgeable about the health systems and re-
lated areas in their country. We are attempting to contact as many
potential Key Informants as possible via e-mail.

You have received this message because it is felt that you can make a
significant contribution to this important WHO investigation, and we
would very much appreciate your taking the 20-30 minutes to complete
an online questionnaire, which can be found at:
http://www.who.int/evidence/ki-survey-04

After completing the survey, kindly forward this message to any addi-
tional persons you feel could also make a contribution.

Thank you for your cooperation and assistance in helping the World
Health Organization to further develop its methodology and improve
its database so that all the countries of the world will have a bet-
ter basis for improving the performance of their health systems.

Sincerely yours,

Dr. David Evans
