E-drug: Brain drain of pharmacists (cont'd)

Zimbabwe has had a massive brain drain of pharmacists. Most of
them have been recruited into Britain. I have not done a research
to get the actual figures but on estimation of the registered
pharmacists only 20% are still in the country. The public hospitals
are currently operating without pharmacists. The University of
Zimbabwe has very few pharmacy lecturers left such that they
are not taking pharmacy students for the next intake.
