[e-drug] Brain drain of pharmacists (cont'd)

E-drug: Brain drain of pharmacists (cont'd)
---------------------------------------------------------------------

Dear E-Druggers,

Eva Ombaka presents a very interesting proposal from which I have
two questions.

Firstly, I would be interested to know how 'supervision' would be
defined. Would it entail the pharmacist visiting the hospitals perhaps
once every month/bimonthly, or making phone calls to these
institutions, etc.,...?.

Secondly as a follow up to the first question, if the pharmacy
technician is doing his/her job with minimal 'supervision' under the
proposed scenario, is there therefore a need to train pharmacists?
