E-drug: GMP specialist needed

The United States Pharmacopiea is recrutiing for the following position:
Senior Program Associate, Global Assistance Initiatives
Provide technical assistance to increase availability of good quality
medicines in low income countries. Pharmaceutical industry and/or
government drug regulatory authority experience required. USAID
experience strongly preferred. Must have extensive experience in GMP
compliance for pharmaceutical manufacturing and/or pharmaceutical supply
chain management.
Establish relationships within funding organizations, e.g., USAID, and
with local partner institutions. Provide training and/or develop
training materials for project participants in developing countries.
Contribute to USP's global technical leadership in drug quality and
collaborate with interagency initiatives such as Roll Back Malaria, Stop
TB and the Global Fund for HIV/AIDS, TB and malaria.
Demonstrated training and management experience in international
programs for at least 5 years, especially in developing countries.
Experience working in Latin American countries preferred. Excellent
communication skills and foreign language skills required, Spanish
and/or Portuguese strongly preferred. Microsoft Word, Excel and
Powerpoint skills required. Analytical Chemistry background a plus.
