----------------------------------------
Dear E-druggers,
We want some informations about a case of child at the age of 18
months with diagnosis Pyelonephritis chr. lat.dex., Ureterocele,
Ureter et ren duplex lat.sin.. Now he is put on low dose (1mg/kg/day)
of Nitrofurantoin about 1 month after the infection.
1.Is there any warning about the use of Nitrofurantoin for
hemoprophilaxys in the cases with long duration therapy?
2.What is your experience in using other antibiotics for
hemoprophilaxys?
3.Do you have any information about the use of deflux system ( or
collagen ) in the cases with vesicoureteral reflux?

This question is rather technical and might be beyond E-drug's
objectives; can anybody suggest an appropriate list to put this
question to?
