E-drug: Pharmacy Technician Web Training sites (cont'd)

Regarding Richard Duncan's request for continuing education modules
in pharmacy practice, essential drugs, etc, the Rational Pharmaceutical
Management Project (RPM) has developed a series of implementation
modules for health facilities to decentralize drug management and
cover such topics as:
P&T Committee
Drug selection and estimation of requirements
Pharmacy and drug sales
Good prescribing practices
Patient participation in treatment
Drug information
The modules are applied by the whole health team in monthly,
half-day sessions which lead to a work plan with tasks for everyone to
perform. These are NOT training materials but rather step-by-step,
get-it-done modules, for health districts. They have been used in
Ecuador, Peru, Mozambique and, most recently, in the Philippines and
are available in Spanish, Portuguese and English.
