I-TECH is pleased to announce that our Malawi office is seeking a highly experienced Technical Assistant for HIV Commodity Supply Chain (TA-HCSC). The primary purpose of this position is to manage and strengthen the supply chain for HIV/AIDS commodities and antiretroviral medicines to ensure uninterrupted distribution to health facilities in Malawi. The TA-HCSC will build capacity in the Ministry of Health for implementation of appropriate and sustainable supply chain management systems for HIV commodities. The position will strengthen the coordination between the HIV programs (HIV Testing and Counseling, Prevention of Mother-to-Child Transmission of HIV/Antiretroviral Therapy, Sexually Transmitted Diseases) and the Department of Health Technical Support Services, collaborating with Central Medical Stores, procurement agents, funding agencies, implementing partners and zonal and district health offices.

The successful candidate will have
* a bachelor's degree in pharmacy or logistics management and procurement;
* experience with large-scale public health programs;
* a minimum of five years of experience with supply chain management in resource-limited settings, especially in distribution of health or related commodities from the national, zonal, or district level to points of distribution;
* a proven track record of achievement; and
* a high level of proficiency with logistics software.
