E-drug: Role and function of E-drug (cont'd)
-------------------------------------------------------------------------
Dear friends,
First of all I would like to express solidarity to the US members of
this group. I also hope that the efforts of peaceful people actively
working for a better world, like e-druggers and millions of others
around the world may help counteract the awfulness around us, be
it in the shape of terrorist bombing, health inequality, child slavery
or any other shape that evil may care to take.
I like e-drug the way it is although, due to lack of time, I delete
most the newspapers clippings after reading no more than the first
few lines and often only the title. Still, they give me the feel of
which health issues get through to the general public and help me
see these issues in a wider contest. I also feel that a discussion
forum is what the members make of it and I don't think the
moderators would censor messages that raise practical issues
(please correct me if I'm wrong) or offer help about them. Maybe if
there aren't that many, it is because people don't post them, which
then reflects the interest of the group itself. I personally have a
number of practical medical issues that I'd like to put to e-druggers
but I need to think them through a bit better before I can hope to
generate a useful discussion.
I am very grateful both to the moderators and to the other
subscribers for what is for me a useful, thought provoking and also,
last but not least, a hope generating forum.
