WHO Cambodia is bidding for the services
(Agreement for Performance of Work, APW) of Pharmaceutical Experts
in the area of essential medicines: inspection and good manufacturing practice

in support of the Department of Drugs and Food, Drug Regulation Bureau (DDF/DRB):
(a) to upgrade skills of its drug inspectors in undertaking structured and systematic inspection of drug outlets (pharmacies, depot A and B drug outlets) and manufacturers of pharmaceutical products in Cambodia; and
(b) to train local pharmaceutical manufacturers on current Good Manufacturing Practice (cGMP) for pharmaceuticals.

The selected experts will work closely with WHO and MoH/DDF/DRB colleagues. Each assignment, as further specified below, will be for a maximum duration of 14 days. Suitable experienced and qualified experts in the indicated areas of expertise are requested to apply for these contracts:

- Delivery 1: Drug inspectors training on structured and systematic inspection procedures (with an assignment period starting from 2 – 15 November 2009 and a training workshop to be held from 9-12 November 2009); and
- Delivery 2: cGMP training for local pharmaceutical manufacturers (with an assignment period starting from 16 – 29 November 2009 and a training workshop to be held from 23-27 November 2009).
