First Announcement
THE PAN PACIFIC VIII CONFERENCE
September 28 - October 1, 1997 in Bali - Indonesia
INVITATION
It is our great pleasure to announce that the International Foundation
for Pharmacy Education and the Indonesian Pharmacists Association present
the Pan Pacific VIII Conference which will be held at Bali Hilton Hotel on
September 28 - October 1, 1997.
The scientific program will feature well-known speakers and discuss
contemporary issues of pharmacy practice. Various aspects of pharmacy
practice and the latest scientific advances will be explored through plenary
sessions and free paper sessions, including oral and poster presentation, as
well as award presentation.
On behalf of the Organizing Committee, we would like to extend a
cordial invitation to you to participate in the conference and to enjoy the
culture and scenery Indonesia has to offer.
It will be a good opportunity for you to meet old friends and make new
acquaintance.
CONFERENCE INFORMATION

- To discuss the pharmaceutical care model and its impact on patient outcomes
- To analyze the impact of technology on practice
- To understand the basic principles of pharmacokinetics and
pharmacist-patient counseling
- To discuss the role of disease management and outcomes research
- To understand the advances in therapeutics

- General Session III : "Creating the Environment for Pharmaceutical Care"

- General Session VI : "Disease Management and Therapeutics"
INSTRUCTION FOR ABSTRACT
Abstract for the meeting will be accepted for Poster and Platform presentation.
Please be sure and type abstract on 8" X 11" paper, single spaced, one sided.
