I would like to bring to your attention the latest issue (#60) of the Therapeutics Letter: "Clinical Pearls from Prescrire" that can be accessed on the Therapeutics Initiative web site at

In this Therapeutics Letter we introduce "Prescrire", an independent drug bulletin from France with aims and methods very similar to the TI's. Letter #60 also includes a few selected direct excerpts or translations from articles published in "Prescrire": alendronate for primary and secondary prevention of osteoporotic fractures, risedronate for primary and secondary prevention of osteoporotic fractures, prevention and treatment of osteoporotic fractures in men, topiramate for migraine prevention, tiotropium for COPD, safety of neuroleptics in elderly patients.
