E-DRUG: Vacancy: WHO Progr on NMPs and Access to Quality Essential Medicines

The French Ministry of Foreign and European Affairs is recruiting a French expert to join the Essential Medicines and Health Products Department at the World Health Organization (WHO) in Geneva.
The expert will work closely with WHO regional offices and country offices. She/he will contribute to WHO support to National Medicine Policy implementation in developing countries; to improving country pharmaceutical sector information and transparency; and to promoting access to quality essential medicines, including for maternal and child health. Priority focus will be given to Sub-Saharan Africa including Francophone countries.
The expert will promote effective coordination between partners and support to existing regional and subregional structures. The expert will promote policy dialogue within national health and pharmaceutical sector plans and will facilitate participation of private sector and civil society partners in national drug policies development, implementation and monitoring.
Excellent skills for written and spoken French and English are required for this position. This post will be filled for an initial period of 2 years, with possibility of renewal.
